New baby Jake - Mancat Monday for Caesar

We are very sad Caesar went to the bridge...Say hi to all the kitties who went before you. Your family & friends will miss you very much. You are a beautiful man-cat.

Our new baby's name is Jacob...we call him Jake. He was born Nov 14, 2007.
He came to our house yesterday afternoon. He is a real hand full, I do the best I can to keep him in line and help him out. I don't think he's listening to me. He loves my wet food. I hope he don't eat it all.

He is really cute and funny! Last night he seen his reflection in a mirror and done the Halloween dance while running into the mirror. It scared Mom. Then she realized he was ok...he repeated the dance again to the mirror about 3 more times. Mom laughs...she thinks that is so funny. He finally gave up.

Mom had to hold him to get him to go to sleep. As soon as she tried to lay him down, he woke up. Mom said that happened when she had babies...never failed. You think they are a sleep and pow, they wake up. Mom says it also works for naps...when a baby is napping and you think about them..they wake up. I don't understand what she is talking about...I just grin and nod.

Jake loves to play...with everything. He thinks he is so tough. We don't see him walk to much...most of the time he is running real fast (like me) or jumping. He discovered the bathroom off the laundry room tonight...geeeeeees!

Did you notice how big his feet are? He might grow really big. We need to get his nails clipped...the vet can do it, I don't want to.

I am always looking out for that helpless little boy...I was just telling him to pick up his toys...he didn't do it. He gets into the basket, then tips it over, the toys go every where...he loves batting the balls around...silly boy!
Mom has lots of pictures of Jake...so don't be surprised if she wants me to post them.

I had to choose two kitties...

I think it would have to be Baby Mao, I boogied my way all through his blog. It put me in a really jazzy mood & I loved it!! and Perfectly Parker, because he is my boyfriend...shhhhh...don't tell him...it's a secret. He is a very handsome man-cat.

***I'm sooooooo embarrassed, I just found out, Parker is a girl. I'm crushed! Now, I'm on the prowl for a new boyfriend...wish me luck. I hope I can tell if it's a he or a she.
I still want Parker to have the award...she is very beautiful...and a nice kittie. I liked her blog. She has a way with words....Love it!

Today is my Mom's birthday...she is not very happy about being a senior citizen. I've told her it is better than the alternative! Everybody has been calling her wishing her Happy Birthday...will it ever stop. It's hard to get those cat naps, when the phone keeps ringing.

We had a party for her over the week-end, with the whole family. She always has a good time at the parties. I think they are kinda rowdy myself. So I was very happy they didn't hold the party here. I got to rest in the peace & quite.
My big brother went back to college...he said he wanted to take me with him...but he didn't. He is one of my favorite humans. I love him...and my Dad of course.

I am so honored...I want to thank Charlie for this award.

I am grateful that he thinks I am worthy of it.

1) I am a big fluffy scaredy-cat ...I hate aluminum foil being ripped from the box...it hurts my ears! I run really fast...

2) I will run really fast...the other way when my Dad sneezes...he's soooo loud!

3) I get spooked when I see my Dad walking up the drive way...
I don't focus on him, I just see something coming & I run in the house...from the garage...really fast...

4) I love browsing the garage for crickets and the noise from the garage door...really scares me. I run into the house really fast...

5) Going outside spooks me...I will turn and run inside, really fast...
although I love to hang my head out the door as far as I can, without really going outside.

6) I run and hide under the bed when we get company...really fast...

7) When I run from something, I run in a crouched down position, so I can't be seen... really fast...

From the day Kenzie was born, she has had a passion for cats...just about everything she owns, draws or writes about...has a relationship to cats.












This is my cousins...Hanna & Mackenzie.

Kenzie just adores kitties...and writing about them. She is very good at creative arts. Always self confident and happy with her work, never criticizes herself, just enjoys the process.

She is new to the "Cat Blogosphere" and trying to learn all she can about blogging. Of course school work comes first, so I'm sure there will be times she won't have time to blog.

Happy New Year.....2008!

Mom's gotta make pork & sauerkraut for the family today...I better make another pot of coffee for her...she gets cranky, when she don't have enough sleep. Maybe she should learn to pace herself, like I do. I will have a talk with her...after my nap!
